Hi, I'm Stefanie and I'm so excited you're here! My journey to creating Haus Apothecary began five years ago after learning about how many endocrine-disrupting chemicals were hidden in conventional skincare. I never quite understood why the ingredient lists were SO long and why I could never pronounce half the label. A few years into my journey of ridding my home of hidden toxins I developed a skin condition that left me with extremely sensitive skin. Conventional products including those that claimed they were "clean" caused flares, hives and flushing. It was during this time that I was introduced to the concept of tallow as skincare and discovered how wonderfully it worked on my new hyper-sensitive skin.

With much prayer and encouragement from a dear friend, I felt called to share my newfound love of tallow skincare with the world (it hadn't quite made the comeback that we're now seeing in 2024). After spending a year perfecting my formulas with the help of friends and family, I officially launched Haus Apothecary in October 2022. It's been an incredible journey stepping into entrepreneurship, and a deep honor to create something that is part of one's daily routine.
