This handcrafted tallow, goat milk, and honey soap bar is made on Pretty Farm Girl's farm in small batches for people who may be sensitive to fragrances, have sensitive skin, or are prone to eczema and psoriasis. 

This bar is made with organic grass-fed tallow and goat milk along with raw honey and kefir. This bar is made with simple, pure ingredients and contains no coconut oil, essential oils, or fragrances.

Why We Love It

Some of the first soaps in the first century were made in the Roman Empire with tallow. Many soaps continued to be made with tallow, however in recent decades most commercial soap makers have swapped tallow for vegetable oils such as palm oil. A big factor in this transition was that these vegetable oils are cheaper.

Tallow

Pretty Farm Girl still uses tallow in their soaps because it has a range of benefits for your skin. Because tallow and our skin oils share similar concentrations of lipids and other fats, tallow absorbs easily into the skin and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. Goat milk is the ultimate superfood for your skin! It makes for a gentle cleanser rich in fatty acids that can help support a healthy skin barrier to keep skin nourished and moisturized. Goat milk has a similar PH to human skin, contributing to its gentleness and absorption. Our goat milk comes from our free-range goats on our chemical and pesticide-free pastures. Pretty Farm Girl supplements their diet with organic Icelandic kelp, minerals, and organic grain.
